OTT platforms are gearing up for a packed entertainment week with action thrillers, crime dramas and suspense-filled series set to grab viewers’ attention. From Ranveer Singh’s much-awaited ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ making its digital debut to gripping stories involving police officers, organised crime and question paper leak scandals, streaming audiences have plenty to look forward to this week across Netflix, Prime Video and JioHotstar.
One of the biggest releases this week is undoubtedly ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, starring Ranveer Singh. The film had created a major buzz during its theatrical run, and fans who missed it on the big screen can finally watch it on OTT. The sequel continues the intense journey of Jaskirat as he transforms into Hamza, taking the revenge-driven narrative to a darker and more emotional level. The first installment had already built a strong fanbase online, and expectations are high for the second chapter as well.

Another major release is ‘Kartavya’, marking Saif Ali Khan’s return to the OTT space after series like Sacred Games and Tandav. Directed by Pulkit and produced by Gauri Khan, the thriller revolves around police officer Pawan Malik, played by Saif, who finds himself torn between personal responsibilities and professional ethics. The film blends emotional conflict with crime investigation drama and will begin streaming on Netflix from May 15.

Crime thriller fans can also look forward to ‘Inspector Avinash Season 2’, starring Randeep Hooda in the lead role. Inspired by several real-life incidents, the series explores the battle against organised crime networks in Uttar Pradesh. Alongside high-intensity police operations, the new season also delves deeper into the emotional and personal struggles faced by Inspector Avinash. The series will stream on JioHotstar from May 15.

Netflix is also bringing back the fan-favourite character Berlin in ‘Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine’. The new chapter follows the clever master thief as he becomes involved in an ambitious art theft centred around a priceless painting. Packed with suspense, strategy and stylish heist sequences, the latest installment promises another thrilling ride for viewers who enjoyed the earlier seasons.

Meanwhile, one of the most talked-about releases this week is ‘Exam’, a thriller series based on a government examination question paper leak scandal. The story follows a determined young woman who takes on a corrupt system after uncovering shocking irregularities tied to competitive examinations. The socially relevant plot and investigative tone have already generated strong interest among OTT viewers. The series will stream on Prime Video from May 15.

With big stars, socially charged narratives and high-voltage thrillers arriving across platforms, this week’s OTT lineup offers something for almost every kind of viewer — from crime drama enthusiasts to fans of political and investigative storytelling.
