US Announces $10 Million Reward for Information on Iran’s Leader Mojtaba Khamenei
The US has announced a $10 million reward for information on Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei and several IRGC officials accused of supporting global terrorism.

In a dramatic escalation of tensions with Iran, the United States has announced a massive reward for information leading to the location of Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei. The US State Department said anyone who can provide credible information about his whereabouts could receive a reward of up to $10 million, equivalent to more than ₹92 crore.

The announcement came through an official statement released on Friday, which also named several senior figures of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). According to Washington, these officials are believed to be involved in activities that support global terrorism and threaten international security.

Apart from Mojtaba Khamenei, the list includes senior Iranian officials such as Ali Asghar Hejazi, Deputy Chief of Staff in the Supreme Leader’s office, and Ali Larijani, a key figure in Iran’s security establishment. Several other high-ranking military and intelligence officials have also been named in the reward notice.

US authorities said they are seeking information on a total of ten individuals linked to the IRGC. Photographs of six of them have been released publicly, while the remaining four could not be visually identified due to lack of available images.

Among those mentioned in the list are Brigadier General Eskandar Momeni, Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib, and Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi, along with other senior figures associated with Iran’s defense and security apparatus.

The announcement comes at a time when military tensions in the region are intensifying. The conflict involving Iran has now entered its third week, with the United States and Israel reportedly stepping up their attacks against Iranian targets.

US President Donald Trump issued a fresh warning on Friday, saying Iran should prepare for far more powerful military operations in the coming days. Speaking to Fox News Radio, Trump said, “From next week onward, we will move forward with even stronger strikes.”

Meanwhile, speculation has also been circulating regarding Mojtaba Khamenei’s health. A report by the British newspaper The Sun recently claimed that he had been seriously injured in a US strike and had lost one leg, with severe damage to his liver.

The report further suggested that the 56-year-old leader was undergoing treatment at Sina University Hospital in Tehran. However, Iranian authorities quickly dismissed these claims.

Yousef Pezeshkian, son of Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian, stated that the country’s new Supreme Leader is safe and in good health. Despite the denials, speculation about his condition and whereabouts continues to fuel global attention amid rising geopolitical tensions.
