Drone Strike Near Dubai Airport Injures Four as Iran-Israel Tensions Escalate
A drone strike near Dubai airport injures four, including an Indian citizen, as missile attacks and military clashes across the Middle East intensify.

A drone strike near Dubai International Airport has left four people injured, including an Indian national, as the ongoing Iran-linked military escalation spreads across the Middle East. The incident, reportedly involving two drones crashing near the airport area, comes amid a wave of missile attacks, counterstrikes, and rising geopolitical tension across several countries in the region.

According to international news agency reports, the drones fell close to the airport perimeter, injuring four individuals. Authorities in Dubai confirmed that one of the injured is an Indian citizen. Despite the incident, officials said that flight operations at Dubai International Airport remain unaffected, and air traffic continues as scheduled.

The attack near the airport comes alongside reports of another Iranian strike targeting a vessel near the coast of the United Arab Emirates. Sources indicated that a missile hit the ship, causing damage, although no casualties have been reported so far.

Meanwhile, tensions across the Middle East have intensified dramatically in recent days. In Saudi Arabia, authorities said they intercepted and destroyed several missiles launched toward the country on Wednesday morning.

In Iraq, Iran reportedly launched multiple missiles targeting a US military base in Baghdad late Tuesday night. Initial reports suggest that while the attack caused alarm, there were no immediate reports of casualties or significant damage.

The Pentagon has also released new figures on the human toll of the conflict, revealing that around 140 American soldiers have been injured since the hostilities involving Iran escalated. Among them, eight soldiers are reportedly in serious condition.

Elsewhere in the region, Israel’s military claimed it successfully intercepted two missiles fired from Iran on Wednesday morning. At the same time, Israel continued its military operations in Lebanon, where two missile strikes reportedly killed four people, including healthcare workers.

The geopolitical situation has also taken a political turn. Following the reported death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, his son Mojtaba Khamenei has been named as the new religious authority. North Korea’s government has publicly expressed support for him, signaling widening geopolitical alignments.

Amid the rapidly escalating conflict, Russian President Vladimir Putin has called for the United Nations to intervene and help de-escalate the growing military confrontation in the region.
