Mahindra’s limited-run BE 6 Batman Edition has witnessed an overwhelming response from buyers, with all 999 units getting booked within just seven minutes of bookings opening. The electric SUV, inspired by the iconic DC superhero, sold out almost instantly as enthusiasts rushed to secure the special edition model. With demand surging far beyond expectations, Mahindra has confirmed that deliveries will begin from April 10.
The company recently relaunched the Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 28.49 lakh, which is Rs. 70,000 higher than its earlier introductory price. According to Mahindra, the special edition was brought back due to strong demand from customers who had missed out on the previous allocation.

The BE 6 Batman Edition stands out with its distinctive styling inspired by the legendary DC character. The model features dark-themed cosmetic upgrades, exclusive graphics and special design elements that differentiate it from the standard BE 6. The theme reflects the stealthy and bold character associated with Batman, giving the electric SUV a unique visual identity.
Under the hood, the limited edition is based on the top-spec variant of the BE 6 lineup and comes equipped with a powerful 79kWh battery pack. The setup produces 282 bhp and 380 Nm of torque, delivering strong performance along with an impressive driving range.
With the latest bookings now completed, Mahindra has confirmed that the entire production run of the BE 6 Batman Edition has been fully accounted for. Customers who secured their bookings can expect deliveries to commence from April 10.
Apart from the Batman Edition, the standard Mahindra BE 6 electric SUV is available in multiple variants and battery configurations. Prices for the base variant start at around Rs. 18.90 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top variants go up to Rs. 28.49 lakh.
The model lineup includes battery options such as a 59kWh pack delivering around 228 bhp and a range of up to 557 km, as well as the larger 79kWh battery capable of producing 282 bhp with an estimated range of up to 683 km. Buyers can also choose between different charger options including no charger, 7.2kW charger and 11.2kW charger depending on their requirements.
With the Batman Edition selling out in minutes, the strong response highlights the growing enthusiasm among Indian buyers for limited-edition electric vehicles that combine performance, technology and distinctive design.
