Five students sexually harassed at a hostel in Kolkata, Police have arrested three people.

Kolkata: A minor girl was allegedly sexually abused at a hostel in Haridevpur. The parents of the five students brought the matter to the attention of the hostel authorities. Thereafter, complaint was filed in the town police station. Based on the complaint, the police arrested three persons, including the principal of the school. A search is on for the others involved in the incident.

According to the police, September 22 was the day when the parents met the students of the hostel. Five girls complained to their parents that they were molested in August. An English teacher was also involved in the incident.

The hostel authorities can get information about this from the parents. Father of the church, Dipendu Pramanik, lodged a complaint with the police on Sunday. The police have begun investigation into the complaint. Five students were examined. The Child Welfare Committee has also been contacted. The police rescued five persons and sent them to hospital. They were handed over to their families by the Child Welfare Committee. Police have arrested the hotel manager. The English teacher and another accused employee of the hostel have also been arrested. A search is on for her husband. Investigators have promised to take action against him.
