A seemingly ordinary travel vlogger from Haryana has now become the focus of a major national security investigation. Jyoti Malhotra, the woman behind the popular YouTube channel ‘Travel With Jo’, is facing serious allegations of espionage for Pakistan. With over 132,000 subscribers, her travel content appeared harmless—until links with Pakistani intelligence officers surfaced.
🧳 Multiple Trips to Pakistan and Suspicious Travel Footage
Investigators have confirmed that Jyoti visited Pakistan at least twice. Her YouTube and Instagram are filled with footage from Lahore’s Anarkali Bazaar, Katas Raj Temples, and Pakistani street food experiences. She even compared Indian and Pakistani cultures in her videos. It is believed that she entered Pakistan via the Attari-Wagah border.
📍 Was She in Kashmir Before the Pahalgam Attack?
Jyoti also traveled to Kashmir last year. She uploaded videos of Shikara rides on Dal Lake, and train journeys from Srinagar to Banihal. What has caught investigators’ attention is her presence in Kashmir just weeks before the April 2025 Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 people. Shortly after the attack, she uploaded a video titled, “My thoughts on Kashmir Pahalgam: Should we visit again?”
📱 Secret Communication via WhatsApp, Telegram, Snapchat
According to intelligence sources, Jyoti first visited Pakistan in 2023, where she reportedly met Ehsan-ur-Rahim alias Danish, an official at the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi. Danish has since been declared persona non grata by India due to espionage links.
It is alleged that through Danish, Jyoti was introduced to multiple ISI operatives. After returning to India, she kept in touch with them via WhatsApp, Telegram, and Snapchat, using coded names on her phone. One of the saved numbers was named ‘Jatt Randhawa’, suspected to be ISI agent Shakir alias Rana Shahbaz.
🧕 Invited Pakistani Diplomat’s Wife to Her Home
In a video posted on March 30, 2024, Jyoti is seen inside the Pakistan High Commission, speaking warmly with Danish and his wife. She even invited the couple to her home in Hisar, Haryana. In the video, Jyoti is heard saying: “I am overwhelmed. I have no words.” Her connections with other officials at the High Commission have also raised suspicions.
🕵️♀️ Spy Network Active in Punjab-Haryana, Five Others Arrested
Jyoti is not alone. The Haryana police have reportedly arrested five more individuals linked to this espionage ring. According to sources, the spy network is active primarily in Punjab and Haryana, and Jyoti is believed to be a key member of this group, allegedly helping pass sensitive information to Pakistan.
