“It was not about revenge, but justice.” That’s the message the Indian Army has reiterated as it released a new official video of ‘Operation Sindoor’ on Sunday, conducted by the Western Command. The video, infused with the powerful chants of the Shiv Tandav Stotram, highlights key moments from the operation launched 14 days after the deadly Pahalgam attack.

In the video, a senior military officer can be heard saying,

“After the Pahalgam incident, we had decided to deliver a blow that Pakistan would remember for generations—not out of anger, but from a resolve to uphold justice.”

Launched exactly two weeks after the terror strike in Pahalgam, Operation Sindoor was a calculated and focused military campaign. The Indian Armed Forces struck nine terror camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK).

According to official military sources, over 100 terrorists were neutralized during this highly coordinated mission. The strikes were described as “precise, limited, and highly effective.”
