  1. Kolkata’s First Dengue Death
    Kolkata reported its first dengue fatality of the season with the death of a young man from the Jorabagan area. He had been admitted to the hospital after contracting dengue and ultimately succumbed to the disease.
  2. Bidhannagar Reports Dengue-Related Death
    In Bidhannagar, a 69-year-old woman, Shibani Das, residing in Ward 4, Sarat Pally, succumbed to dengue hemorrhagic fever on Saturday. She had been hospitalized in Baguihati, and her death certificate confirms “dengue hemorrhagic fever” as the cause. This marks the first dengue fatality in Bidhannagar this season.
  3. Islampur Grapples with Widespread Dengue Cases
    The dengue situation is especially severe in Islampur, with Netaji Park and Nasyat Para areas hit hardest. A 30-year-old man, Rahul Sheikh, passed away due to dengue on Tuesday morning, adding to the growing list of dengue fatalities in Islampur. Hospitals in the area are overwhelmed, with a continuous influx of patients presenting fever and dengue symptoms.
