Junior Doctors’ Protests:
The junior doctors’ protests, which began after the tragic rape and murder incident at RG Kar Hospital, brought attention to the alleged “culture of threats.” The protesters accused certain doctors and officials of maintaining a climate of fear within the hospital, intimidating juniors and medical students. Previously, more than 50 doctors, house staff, and interns were identified for investigation. Now, the inquiry has been extended to include senior doctors.
