Renowned Bollywood actor Govinda, aged 60, suffered a bullet wound in his leg due to an accidental misfire from his licensed gun. Hours after being admitted to a Mumbai hospital, the actor released an audio message expressing gratitude to his fans, family, and doctors for their support and prayers. The incident occurred early this morning while the actor was preparing to leave for the airport to board a flight to Kolkata.
Govinda, also a Shiv Sena leader, was alone at his Juhu residence when the accident took place around 4:45 am. According to his manager, Shashi Sinha, the actor’s revolver accidentally fired when it fell from a cupboard, striking him below the knee. Despite the alarming nature of the accident, his condition is reported to be stable, and his daughter Tina is currently by his side at Criticare Hospital.

In the audio clip, Govinda, speaking in a raspy voice, acknowledged the blessings of his fans, parents, and guru for helping him recover from the incident. He expressed gratitude for the timely medical assistance he received and assured everyone that the bullet had been successfully removed.
