The following districts are under an orange alert, with strong gusty winds and thunderstorms likely on Saturday: South 24 Parganas, East Midnapore, West Midnapore, Jhargram, Purulia, Bankura and West Burdwan. Wind speeds in these districts may reach 50 to 60 km/h, and rainfall is expected to be intense in some pockets.

The weather office has issued a yellow warning for: Kolkata, Howrah, Hooghly, North 24 Parganas, East Burdwan, Birbhum, Murshidabad and Nadia. These areas may experience gusty winds of 40–50 km/h, scattered rain, and lightning.
